MPs in call for urgent action to save pubs

PUBS are being overlooked and overburdened with tax, MPs say.

Members of the All-Party Parliamentary Beer Group called for urgent action to help the sector.

The industry supports more than a million jobs and boosts the economy by £34.3billion.

Labour's Tonia Antoniazzi, the group’s chair, said: "This critical sector has been overlooked, to the detriment of the economy.
