Jake's happy to have quick turnaround

ENGLAND have not had long to dwell on Saturday's 26-6 Ashes defeat - but centre Jake Wardle thinks that's a good thing.

Making himself accountable, Wardle is ready to go up against the Green and Gold machine once again in a door-die clash at Everton's Hill Dickinson Stadium this Saturday.

And for the Halifax native, 26, it's very much a case of ‘bring it on’, with Shaun Wane's England dusting themselves down after the disappointment of Wembley and ready to put in a more physical and clinical account and keep the Test series alive.

"That's the beauty of it - it's do or die this week," he said.

"If we lose, we've lost the Test series, so you've got to put it to the back of your mind and focus on the next job.
