Obsessive who terrified Tweedy at home is jailed
A CONVICTED killer who stalked Cheryl Tweedy by turning up at her home was jailed yesterday.
The Girls Aloud star, 41, was “terrified” when Daniel Bannister, 50, said into her doorbell camera: “I've come to get Cheryl.”Bannister got 16 weeks for breaching an order to stay away. He was jailed in 2012 for manslaughter.

Repeat offender jailed for 16 weeksWHEN Cheryl Tweedy recognised the face of her dangerous stalker outside her country home she "immediately panicked" for the safety of her seven-year-old son.
The convicted killer was yesterday jailed for 16 weeks for breaching a restraining order to stay away from the Girls Aloud singer.
Daniel Bannister, 50, appeared at her mansion and said into the doorbell camera: "I've come to get Cheryl." Bannister, who served jail time in 2012 for killing a homeless man in a hostel, caused the star "serious alarm" by "displaying fixated, obsessive, unwanted and repetitive behaviour", Wycombe magistrates court was told.
Sentencing, District Judge Arvind Sharma said Bannister knew Cheryl, 41, was "very distressed and upset".
