O'Connor: Anything but Grand Final glory would be let-down for Rhinos

JARROD O'CONNOR insists if Leeds don’t win Super League this year their season will be a failure.

It’s a bold claim given they could yet finish fourth heading into the final two regular rounds.

And Rhinos are also third favourites for the prize with competition sponsors Betfred at 5/1 behind leaders Hull KR (5/4) and champions Wigan (13/8).

But ahead of tonight's game against Catalans - where a win keeps alive the hope of usurping second-placed Warriors - the Leeds hooker is adamant they need to aim high.

They last played in a Grand Final in 2022 in a season which started with boss Richard Agar quitting - only for Rohan Smith to guide them to Old Trafford with 11 wins from 13 games.
