MONSTER former police officer David Carrick has been given a 37th life sentence after being convicted of sexual abuse offences dating back 35 years.

Carrick, 50, who served as an armed officer in the Met, was just 14 when he molested a 12-year-old girl.
More than 20 years later, and while he was a police officer, he repeatedly raped and abused a woman during a toxic relationship.
The abuse came to light after he pleaded guilty in 2022 and 2023 to 71 sexual offences, including 48 rapes, against 12 other women.
Carrick, who denied the fresh allegations, is already serving 36 life sentences with a minimum of 32 years.
Yesterday at the Old Bailey, he got another life term to run concurrently for a minimum of 30 years.
