BOWEN READY FOR A CALL-UP FROM TUCHEL

JARROD BOWEN is in the frame to make Thomas Tuchel's first England squad after revealing he has had two phone calls from the German to check on his form and fitness.

The West Ham skipper scored his eighth goal of the season to deliver a mortal blow to Arsenal's title hopes in the East Enders' 1-0 win on Saturday.

Then Bowen disclosed that coach Tuchel has been in regular touch.

Bowen (above) scored his first international goal for the Three Lions in a 5-0 romp against the Republic of Ireland to seal Nations League promotion last November.

And now he is hopeful of making the cut when Tuchel shows his first hand for next month's World Cup qualifying double-header with Albania and Latvia at Wembley.
