10 killed and flats destroyed in one of deadliest attacks ón city

RESCUERS clear the rubble of a destroyed apartment block after at least 10 people were killed in a massive attack on Kyiv.

Russia fired more than 440 drones and 32 missiles in one of the deadliest raids on Ukraine's capital in months.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said it was "one of the most terrifying strikes" on Kyiv, which also left 156 people injured.

Mayor Vitali Klitschko announced that today would be an official day of mourning.

He added a 62-year-old US citizen was among those killed and 40 people had been taken to hospitals after residential buildings were severely damaged.
