Storm dumps snow and rain

STORM Bert will reach the UK tomorrow, bringing heavy rain and snow, together with strong winds, to swathes of the country.

Despite a brief respite for some today, snow showers will continue to feed into northern coastal areas, adding to snow over high ground but also reaching lower levels at times.

Tomorrow will bring a shift to more wet and windy conditions, with warnings already issued on potential disruption from rain and snow.
