Boxer on his struggle to cope with losing pals in car crash

FORMER heavyweight champ Anthony Joshua fought back tears as he told how he and two of his closest friends had set off on a trip that began with optimism - before everything changed in an instant.

AJ, his trainer Latif Ayodele and conditioning coach Sina Ghami were in Nigeria being driven to see the boxer's relatives.

He said: "We had so many plans to wrap up 2025 and we were on a mission. We went back home, went to see our families... and everything just got flipped upside on its head."

Their Lexus SUV hit a stationary truck near the city of Lagos, on December 29 - killing Sina and Latif, both 36, instantly as the vehicle's side was sheared off.
