Strong growth drives LCB Finance to best-ever interim results

LCB Finance PLC has reported a significant rise in profitability for the first half of the financial year 2025/26, posting a profit before tax of Rs.298.32 million for the six months ended September 30, 2025.

This marks a sharp increase compared to Rs.65.8 million recorded during the same period in 2024. The company attributed this strong performance to its ability to expand its portfolio while maintaining sustainable growth through disciplined cost management.
The cost-to-income ratio was maintained at 49 percent, underscoring operational efficiency and prudent expense control.
