AMBASSADOR of Palestine to Sri Lanka Ihab Khalil called on Minster of Foreign Affairs, Foreign Employment, and Tourism Vijitha Herath on 2 June and briefed him on the situation in Gaza and discussed bilateral issues.

The Ambassador of Palestine appreciated Sri Lanka for its stance on the Palestine issue and for the continuous solidarity and support extended to Palestine at regional and international fora. He appreciated Sri Lanka for the donation of $ 1 million made to the Gaza
