Lanka Hospitals becomes first healthcare service provider to join GovPay

LANKA Hospitals announced that it has become the first healthcare service provider to integrate with GovPay, Sri Lanka’s Government Digital Payment Platform.

The collaboration also marks GovPay’s 100th onboarded institution —a milestone in the nation’s ongoing transition towards secure, transparent, and cashless public payments.

The MoU was handed over by LankaPay Chief Executive Officer Channa de Silva, and signed on behalf of Lanka Hospitals by Group Managing Director Chaaminda Kumarasiri in the presence of Lanka Hospitals Chairman, senior leadership, Maj. Gen. Dr.Chrisantha Fernando (Retd.), and representatives from ICTA and LankaPay, including ICTA Board Director Harsha Purasinghe, and ICTA Program Manager Lead — Digital Government/ Digital Economy Udaya Kasthurirathne.
