From the opening fight, the intensity was unmatched. Mohammed Zubair (India) kicked off the night with a statement, earning a commanding TKO victory over Ting Jer Huan (Malaysia), followed by Tharinda Wijerathna’s(Sri Lanka) equally impressive TKO win against Shivam Chaurasiya (India), which drew loud cheers from the Sri Lankan crowd.
History was then made when Thilakshana Deshan (Sri Lanka) stepped into the ring for the first-ever boxing match in KFL history, delivering a sensational knockout victory over Abdul Samad (Sri Lanka) — a moment that marked the beginning of a new era for the league.
