THE Colombo stock market recovered from an early decline to close flat yesterday with both indices ending in opposite directions.

The ASPI gained a marginal 0.13% or 28.80 points to close at 21,927.00 and the S&P SL20 ended down 0.05% or 3.05 points to 6,011.31.
Market turnover was nearly Rs. 2.56 billion on over 102.2 million shares traded. Foreign investors were net sellers with a net outflow of nearly Rs. 68.6 million.
