TO commemorate the 75th Anniversary of the Central Bank of Sri Lanka (CBSL), Governor Dr. Nandalal Weerasinghe yesterday presented a new Rs. 2,000 commemorative currency note to President Anura Kumara Disanayake at the Presidential Secretariat.

This is the fifth commemorative currency note released by the Central Bank in its history. Issued under the theme “Stability for Prosperity,” the note reflects CBSL’s role in strengthening economic stability as a foundation for national development.
