IT'S official...Britain now plays host to the oldest man on the planet after Guinness World Records bestowed the title on 111-year-old John Tinniswood.
Great-grandad John was honoured with a record certificate at a ceremony at his care home in Southport, Merseyside.
It follows the death of previous title-holder, Venezuelan Juan Vicente Perez Mora, on Wednesday, weeks before his 115th birthday.
