Victims losing nearly £200 in ticket scams
Daily Express
|July 10, 2025
ONE in five gig goers has fallen for a ticket scam, often from “too good to be true” deals on social media.

A poll of 2,000 people found those who fell victim were out of pocket by an average £186.
A further 28% had a “near miss” where they had second thoughts or their bank warned them it might be a scam. But 27% kept their ticket shame a secret.
