Travellers face huge hike as airports hit with 295% rates rise

AIR travellers are being warned to brace for ticket price hikes as regional airports face "unprecedented" rises in property tax next year.
It comes as analysis of official government data revealed they are among those facing the steepest increases in business rates of any sector in the UK amid an overhaul of property valuations underpinning the tax.
