Traveller is buried in a gold coffin

THE head of a traveller family has been buried in a solid gold coffin after his grieving relations declared that “money is no object”.

Frank Thompson, 69, was also taken on a week-long Rolls-Royce farewell tour of places in Nottingham and Manchester where he had done business as well as cemeteries where those close to him are laid to rest.

A friend said his family have also commissioned a huge marble tomb for him in South London.
