Tragic Jay 'took drink and drug cocktail before vanishing in the Tenerife hills'

TEENAGER Jay Slater took drugs, including cocaine, ecstasy and ketamine, before he died in the Tenerife mountains, an inquest has heard.
The tragic 19-year-old was on holiday with friends on the Spanish island and had been partying at the NRG music festival on June 16 last year.
But he vanished the following morning after going to an Airbnb with two men he had met on the holiday.
Jay, of Oswaldtwistle, Lancashire, was reported missing on June 18 after telling pals he had started a 14-hour walk to his apartment in blazing heat.
His body was found in a steep ravine a month later.
Mum Debbie Duncan had asked for the inquest to be resumed after a number of witnesses failed to give evidence at the last hearing in May.
