FAMILY doctors have been told to “think again” if they see sick patients three times without improvement.

Jess's Rule asks GPs to reconsider their approach if problems are not resolved after three appointments.

The guidelines have been introduced in honour of Jessica Brady, who died of cancer aged 27. She had visited her GP more than 20 times in just five months.
