POLL REVEALS PLIGHT OF HARD-HIT BRITISH HOUSEHOLDS
ONE in three people believe they will be significantly worse off after Rachel Reeves upcoming Budget amid fears of a big squeeze a month before Christmas.
It comes after the Chancellor hinted at income tax hikes in breach of Labour's manifesto promises, to follow last year's hated increase in employers’ national insurance contributions.
As the cost-of-living crisis continues, many households fear they are just one unexpected bill away from disaster as they await announcements in the autumn Budget on November 26.
With only 18 days to go, a poll shared exclusively with the Express reveals 34% fear it will leave them much worse off, while 30% are “fed up as it looks like bad news”.
