Ex GMTV star describes 'awful' brain fog and lethargy
FIONA Phillips has spoken about her "awful" brain fog as she takes part in a drug trial with the hope of stabilising or even reversing the symptoms of Alzheimer's.
Two months after revealing she has been diagnosed with the condition, Fiona is being is monitored at University College Hospital, London.
The TV presenter, 62, doesn't know if she's taking the new drug or a placebo. But she is struggling with memory loss and lethargy.
She said: "It's awful but I keep having these moments where I think, 'What's the word?' It doesn't happen all the time... just occasionally.
