Thomason hoping home run gets Parky’s boys galloping to finish line

GEORGE THOMASON thinks Wrexham are coming up on the rails - and it is all thanks to the Racecourse Ground.

Phil Parkinson's promotion dark horses have recovered from a slow start to pull within a short neck of the playoff places thanks to just one defeat in the last 12 league games.

Only leaders Coventry boast a better record over the last five Championship matches as Parkinson's thoroughbreds hope to romp to a fifth straight home league win against Blackburn.

The Red Dragons have gone more than six hours without shipping a goal and Thomason insists their home form at the Racecourse will be key in the quest for an unprecedented fourth consecutive promotion.
