'Scars could be for life' ...girl, 14, traumatised by acid attack, says dad

THE father of a schoolgirl who suffered lifechanging injuries when acid was thrown in her face during a drive-by attack has said words cannot express the "shock, pain and trauma" she is enduring.

Corey McFarlane's 14-year-old daughter, a boy of 16 and a woman teacher, 27, were taken to hospital after a balaclava-clad attacker on an e-scooter hurled the corrosive substance on Monday afternoon. Police have launched a hunt for a tall, slim, black male in dark clothing.
