Gloomy Mcllroy hits out after being left in limbo

RORY MCILROY slammed the BMW PGA as a "****_ show" after his late shot in the dark kept alive his hopes of making the cut in his last event before the Ryder Cup.

Morning fog delayed the start to leave players racing to finish rounds in the gloom.

World No.2 Mcllroy had been heading to the airport and his mate's stag do in Mykonos - when he pulled his wedge shot into water at the eighth hole for a double bogey. He then found trees twice on the 12th to fall two shots outside the cut line.
