Reeves is accused of driving jobs out of the UK by making it cheaper to pay overseas workers for back-office roles.The Treasury has been warned it is missing out on millions in tax revenue because British people are not being hired.

The Chancellor's decision to hike employers’ national insurance contributions is blamed for pushing up the cost of employing someone in the UK.
