Ex-United man Dublin warns Liverpool his old club are due a big win that could turn the tide
DION DUBLIN has warned Liverpool that his Manchester United are ‘‘due" a big win that can change their season.
“Liverpool watch out - it is going to be a close one,” Dublin declared ahead of Sunday's Anfield clash.
But he is still backing Arnie Slot's side to defend their Premier League title in a tight race this season.
Liverpool suffered a run of three consecutive defeats before the international break. And despite co-owner Sir Jim Ratcliffe's public backing of Ruben Amorim, Manchester United are stuck in 10th without an away win this season, with the Portuguese coach approaching his first anniversary in the job next month.
But since the 7-0 Anfield humiliation under Erik ten Hag in March 2023, the Old Trafford club have drawn their last two games at Liverpool.
