Rayner under fresh scrutiny as neighbour steps into row

Sylvia Hampson - who has previously called Labour's deputy leader a *****ing liar" for insisting that she lived apart from her then husband - has claimed she was a legal witness to the sale of Ms Rayner's home.

A newspaper yesterday reported that Ms Rayner asked Mrs Hampson to sign the Transfer of Whole Registered Title document for what she claimed was her "principal property" in Vicarage Road, Stockport.
