Raducanu poised to sit out BJK Cup singles

EMMA RADUCANU has been named in Britain's squad for the Billie Jean King Cup Finals - but is unlikely to play in the singles rubbers.
The 22-year-old joins Katie Boulter, Sonay Kartal and Jodie Burrage in the team for the quarterfinal against Naomi Osaka's Japan in Shenzhen on September 18.
Raducanu is the British No.3 behind Boulter and Kartal, which means the other two are expected to fill the singles berths, unless the 2021 US Open champion can climb the rankings ahead of the competition.
