Country can seize huge life-changing opportunities in the face of global threats

PM'S BOLD VISION FOR 'STARK CHOICES' FACING BRITAIN

THE next few years will be among the most dangerous and life-changing Britain has ever witnessed, Rishi Sunak warns today.

But the Prime Minister says he has "bold ideas" that will allow the country to seize the "huge opportunities" and build "brighter, more secure futures for British families".

Mr Sunak will point to Russia, China and Iran's increasing aggression but also the threat posed by the current massive wave of global migration.

Downing Street said the Prime Minister will "promise" to "tackle these challenges head-on" and "transform them into opportunities where possible".

In a wide-ranging speech setting out his vision for a better society in which all Britons can have "confidence and pride", Mr Sunak will seek to put his party's poor showing in local elections behind him and convince voters to stick with the Tories. The PM will say: "I have bold ideas that can change our society for the better and restore people's confidence and pride in our country.

"I feel a profound sense of urgency. Because more will change in the next five years than in the last 30.

"I'm convinced that the next few years will be some of the most dangerous yet most transformational our country has ever known."
