On the Road to nowhere

NOT for the first time, my poor wife walks into the room and asks me why I'm shouting at the telly. "It's Abbey Road!" I yell. "It's flipping obvious! What the heck is wrong with these people?

At which point, no further explanation is required. My outburst makes perfect sense to her as soon as she sees what I'm watching. She knows what I'm like.

It is, of course, a TV quiz, and the people on it are, with the greatest of respect, being nitwits, struggling with the easiest-peasiest of questions. The A stands for Abbey, the R stands for Road. I mean, come on, it's blindingly obvious. Actually, I say "quiz". Really it's more of a game show, but that makes it sound as though there's money to be won, or failing that at least a token prize, which it turns out there isn't.
