Nigel Farage hits back at Starmer: 'I am sorry to say I now believe he is unfit to be Prime Minister of our country'

NIGEL Farage yesterday branded Sir Keir Starmer "unfit for office" and accused the Prime Minister of descending "into the gutter" by putting the lives of Reform UK supporters at risk.
Sir Keir used his flagship Labour conference speech to launch his latest barrage against Mr Farage as polls show Reform would win the most seats in a general election.
The Right-wing party leader blasted the PM for relentless and personal attacks and warned that such "language will incite and encourage the radical Left".
Mr Farage said: "I am sorry to say I now believe he is unfit to be the Prime Minister of our country.
"It directly threatens the safety of our elected officials and our campaigners. And frankly, in the wake of the Charlie Kirk murder, this is an absolute disgrace."
The Reform leader described Sir Keir's rhetoric as the "desperate last throw of the dice from a Prime Minister who is in deep trouble".
Sir Keir attacked Mr Farage in his Liverpool conference speech, saying: "When was the last time you heard Nigel Farage say anything positive about Britain's future? He can't.
"He doesn't like Britain, doesn't believe in Britain, wants you to doubt it just as much as he does and so he resorts to grievance."
Mr Farage claimed that Labour's attacks on him have been "obsessive". He said: "What I've learned this week is that the Government are incapable of beating us on our arguments.
"And, as a result, the Prime Minister has decided to descend into the gutter and all of his Cabinet with him."
Sir Keir kicked off conference week by describing Reform's plans to axe indefinite leave to remain which gives people the right to stay in the UK as "immoral" and "racist".
