NHS is 'leaking' staff as students abandon courses

THE NHS's pipeline of trainee staff is "highly leaky" with high dropout rates putting severe strain on the service, experts say.

They want a £230million-a-year scheme to write off student loans in return for sticking with the job over a number of years.
