New United bid for Mbeumo worth £70m

MANCHESTER UNITED have tabled a take-it-or-leave-it offer for Bryan Mbeumo.
United have already failed with two bids for the Brentford striker, but want to make it third time lucky after an offer of £65million plus £5m in performance-related add-ons.
The Bees have yet to respond, although they rate Mbeumo, 25, in the £70m bracket so a deal is likely to be agreed.
The Cameroon star has his heart set on the move despite interest from Tottenham, now managed by former Brentford head coach Thomas Frank.
United manager Ruben Amorim wanted his summer signings on board before he and his squad fly to the US next week for their preseason tour, with Matheus Cunha the only new arrival so far.
