M&S chaos as cyber attack hits website and app

MARKS & Spencer has been forced to halt all online orders after a cyber attack hit its website and mobile app services.

The high street giant said that it had taken the step as part of its "pro-active management" of the issue.

Customers can still browse products online, but the company says it cannot process any orders through its M&S.com website or apps.

In-store shopping, however, remained unaffected yesterday, and all branches were open as usual.
