Miracle triplets home for Christmas

THEY say three’s a crowd, but these miracle triplets will be a welcome addition at home for Christmas with their proud parents.

Emil, Ava, and Alba Wise, now six weeks, were able to finally leave hospital after arriving two months early on November 1.

Mum Hannah Gurney, 36, and partner Chris Wise, 38, had planned a C-section at 34 weeks but she went into labour a fortnight early. Ten hours later the triplets arrived within two minutes of each other – weighing between 3lb 1.5oz and 3lb 3oz.

After five weeks in intensive care gaining strength and growing, the babies were discharged from the Queen Alexandra Hospital, Portsmouth.

Hannah and sports broadcaster Chris have brought their triplets to their home in the city and are ready to spend a quiet Christmas as a family of five.
