Migrant is found guilty of raping drunk teen

AN asylum seeker has been found guilty of raping a “drunk and obviously vulnerable” woman in a park.

Sheraz Malik, 28, had claimed he had consensual sex with the teen victim, who was 18 at the time of the attack on June 29 last year.

But a jury returned unanimous guilty verdicts on two counts of rape at Birmingham crown court.

Malik was born in Pakistan and lived in Italy, Germany and France before coming to the UK.
