Mercy mission gets 97 patients out from Gaza

A DARING mission has evacuated nearly 100 sick people from Gaza in the war's biggest such operation.
World Health Organisation chiefs said that the 97 vulnerable patients, around half of them children, were later transferred to the United Arab Emirates for treatment.
They include people with cancer, trauma and blood and kidney diseases, who were evacuated by road and then flown from Israel's Ramon airport.
