Life ban after starving four dogs to death

A WOMAN has been banned from owning pets for life after locking her four dogs in a filthy kitchen to starve to death in agony.

Victoria Blood barricaded the dogs in the kitchen of her former home after moving just half a mile away.

They were found dead four months later, in a scene described by RSPCA inspector Clare Wilson as the most harrowing she had ever seen.

Blood said she had returned daily to feed the dogs - two Belgian Malinois, a Cocker Spaniel and a Jack Russell - but admitted she had not done so for a month when they were found.
