LIAM ROSENIOR is determined to convince Chelsea's top brass that he should be given as much time to transform the Blues as Mikel Arteta got at Arsenal.

Arteta has been with the Gunners for more than six years.

The FA Cup is the only piece of silverware the Spaniard has won at the Emirates Stadium, but he has turned the Gunners into consistent title challengers.

Arsenal sit six points clear at the top of the Premier League. After signing a six-and-a-half year deal at Stamford Bridge, Rosenior hopes he can buck the trend at Chelsea by staying the course beyond his contract.

"I'd love to be here for six years or longer," Rosenior said.
