Premier star Antonio was 'close to dying'
FOOTBALL star Michail Antonio says he was close to dying after crashing his Ferrari into a tree but believes he has been given another chance at life.
The West Ham United striker, 34, had to be cut free from the wreckage after the smash while driving home from training during Storm Darragh.
But the Premier League star has vowed to return to the pitch despite shattering his left leg.
In his first interview since December's accident, the dad of six says he remembered “nothing” from just before and after the crash as he navigated “windy, wet, horrific” conditions in Epping Forest, Essex.
