Isidor still open to big promotion

WILSON ISIDOR kept Sunderland knocking on the door of the Championship's top two.

Isidor struck early to give the Black Cats a victory that took them within three points of leaders Leeds.

But a fourth straight away defeat for Pompey, who had captain Marlon Pack sent off, left them above the relegation zone only on goals scored.

Sunderland head coach Regis Le Bris again partnered Isidor with Eliezer Mayenda up front and that quickly paid dividends.
