'I regret having so many tattoos'

SHERIDAN Smith has urged actors not to have tattoos, revealing that she regrets several of hers.

The star said she had to start work three hours early on latest show The Castaways so her ink could be covered by waterproof make-up.

Cilla star Sheridan, 42, had several tattoos after a breakdown in 2016 when her father died.

They include Daddy's Girl on her right wrist in tribute to Colin, who died of cancer at the age of 80.

In another nod to him, a blue butterfly and the words This Too Shall Pass are etched on her wrist.

Sheridan also has angel wings on a wrist, a large floral inking on her left shoulder, C'est La Vie spelled out on one arm, a bow design on her thumb and a lotus flower tattooed on her thigh.
