Heroic dog gives blood to save pup

Trail hound's helping paw
A DOG was hailed a hero after donating blood to save the life of a desperately ill puppy.
Old English foxhound Cannock saved cocker spaniel Rosco when he suffered internal bleeding.
Veterinary nurse Kirsty Thompson was treating the four-month-old pup born with a rare genetic condition.
Rosco needed an urgent blood transfusion to have any chance of surviving.
