Greggs' sausage rolls to blame for parking row

GREGGS fans have left residents of an exclusive retirement enclave choking with rage by swamping their car park for a sausage roll fix.

The baked goods shoppers have used Hanover Close in Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk, since the petrol garage at the end of the road got a Greggs outlet last year.

But the problem worsened when the forecourt shut for a revamp.

Resident Georgie Pearson counted 55 cars on the first day of the works.

She said customers have climbed over fences to get to Greggs, while others have reportedly been abusive to her neighbours.
