DAVID Beckham credits his film pal Guy Ritchie with helping him fall deeply in love with the countryside.

The ex-England football captain, who often documents his life as a well-dressed gent in the Cotswolds, is guest editor of today’s one-off edition of Country Life.

It includes his favourite view, best-loved recipe and his relationship with rural life.

Sir David, 50, told the magazine: “Earliest memories of doing anything in the countryside are when I was a cub, then a scout and we used to go camping in Epping Forest.”
