Gang jailed after children caught in feud crossfire

THREE men have each been jailed for 23 years after two children were shot as they were caught in the crossfire of a "murderous" drug feud.

The 11-year-old girl and 15-year-old boy were both hit in the legs by bullets fired across a playground from a stolen Ford Focus, occupied by gang members Kian Durnin, Martino De-Sousa, and Tireq McIntosh.

Durnin, 22, and McIntosh, 23, had both denied being in the car at the time of the shooting in Wolverhampton on May 1.

But chilling CCTV footage played during their trial at Birmingham Crown Court showed driver Durnin and McIntosh, who was in the front passenger seat, leaning out of the car window and firing handguns at a rival gang. De-Sousa, 24, was in the back of the vehicle.
