SKY Sports presenter Kelly Cates is set to jump ship to join a new threehost line-up on Match of the Day from next season.
The 49-year-old daughter of Liverpool legend Sir Kenny Dalglish is expected to join Gabby Logan and Mark Chapman on the flagship football show.
It is understood Kelly was approached by the BBC last month, following the announcement Gary Lineker would end his 25-year spell as the show's anchor at the end of the 2024-25 season. No deal has been signed as yet, but talks are progressing, sources insist.
