Fujitsu's team feared data trouble

FUJITSU staff feared being "hauled over the coals" after they realised the Post Office was using manipulated audit details to prosecute sub-postmasters, the Horizon IT scandal inquiry heard yesterday.
John Simpkins, of the firm's Software Support Centre, agreed the team "downed tools". The inquiry heard Audit Record Query data of transactions made by subpostmasters was "manipulated from its original" and filtered before use in court.
The format was said to lack information about what a counter can sell, for how much and the steps taken in transactions.
